Air Activities-RAF Cosford Museum
On a cold January Sunday morning the Cubs from 2nd Rhyl (and some friends from 1st Rhuddlan) set off for the RAF Museum Cosford in the West Midlands and after an eventful journey we arrived and armed with the badge requirements off we went.
The aim of the day was to complete the Air Activities badge, this was to take most of the day as there were plenty of planes, tanks, missles and other vechiles to distract them. There was a chance to fly a mini Spitfire and learn all about how air pressure works, how aircraft deliver aid to different countries and even try on different uniforms from different era's
The highlights of the day were meeting James May-well a model of him and his Airfix Spitfire Model, flying with the Red Arrows which was to quote one of the Cubs ''The best thing ever!'' and the ever popular shop, which once in seems like hours before we left.
