VOC District Camp
The Vale Of Clwyd celebrated St Georges Day late this year by heading off to Kingswood's Colomendy Activity Centre.
After a hectic arrival we all met our team leaders for the weekend, and given a tour.
The first activities were Mini Olympics and Scrapheap Challenge were the challenge was to build rockets, there were some interesting designs and some even managed to fly.
The main activities were age bases, so Cubs had Caving, Climbing, Problem Solving, Low Ropes, Circus Skills, Night trail, Lazar Quest and Scouts then also had 3G Swing and Zip Wire to entertain them.
We all then renewed our promises and some members made them for the first time
We were lucky the weather stay dry, with only a few spots on the way home..phew
